There are a variety of ways you can get support for your PlaceWin products. The on-screen help system is the first place you should look for detailed help for most problems. If you are unable to resolve the problem or get an answer to your question using the Help system, please contact us using one of the contact methods.

On-Screen Help

The on-screen help that ships with PlaceWin products provides many answers to your questions. As with any new software there is a learning curve to become accustomed to all its features. Time spent reading and using the on-screen help will be paid back many times over in efficient and productive use of PlaceWin.

The on-screen help system has 5 sections:

Quick Start: To get you going quickly with a minimum of reading, the QuickStart guide pops up when you first start PlaceWin.

Overview: The Overview Help provides help and guidance with the basic functions of PlaceWin. By referring to this help section, you can learn how to get up and running and productive with PlaceWin without getting bogged down in too much detail.

Shortcuts: The Shortcuts help section lists various shortcuts, key strokes, and quick ways to accomplish routine tasks. By learning the shortcuts for functions you use frequently, you can speed up your use of the software.

Help: The Help section provides detailed explanations of every function in PlaceWin. This is the place to go to figure out how to accomplish any task in PlaceWin and to understand in depth any particular aspect of the system.

Balloon Help: Balloon help can be turned on and off by clicking the "Help On/Help Off" button in the upper right of most screens. Balloon help, when activated, gives brief explanations of sections of the screen. Simply let the cursor hover over a section you are unclear about and a balloon help will pop up. Balloon help is useful in the first few weeks of using PlaceWin. After that time it's usefulness may have been exhausted and you may wish to turn it off.

30-day Evaluation Version

We will provide both telephone and e-mail support for installation issues. If you have any difficulty installing a PlaceWin product, call or e-mail us. We will be happy to assist you. Since we want your evaluation of PlaceWin to provide you with a full appreciation of the product, we will answer any questions you may have during that time. See our support contacts below.

Registered Users

IT Resources will provide registered users technical support by phone and/or e-mail for no charge. Also, a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) document is available at this website, and various support documents are available to address specific issues. Of course, in an emergency, we will respond to your questions as soon as possible.

Contract Services

IT Resources is available to develop customized features for your PlaceWin software. If there is a feature you would like us to develop for you, contact us and we will provide you with a quote.
